With some experience and confidence, raising GG4 x Zkittles can be easy. It is a resilient strain that can readily produce massive yields with just enough tender, loving care.
This medium-sized, bushy plant has bright green leaves tinted with light purple. The trichome-rich flowers will have a thick, sticky layer of white crystals, giving them a snow-laden look. Due to the zealous growth, it is necessary to trim the leaves on the lower branches to allow good airflow and prevent the proliferation of fungi like powdery mildew. This lets the plant focus its energy on bud production instead of fighting off infestations.
Female plants will have tiny buds with white baby hairs around them.
With a height ranging from 1.4 to 1.7 meters (4.5 to 5.5 feet), this strain is ideal for growing indoors because it does not require a high ceiling. The best temperature range for it is between 21 and 27 degrees Celsius (70 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit). To maximize the yield, adapt a low-stress training (LST) technique such as the Sea of Green (SOG).
The use of organic soil as a planting medium for Gorilla Zkittlez is highly recommended. This kind of soil is rich in nutrients which enhance the terpene profile. Not only will it give the nugs a richer, more robust smell, but it also works better with cannabinoids for greater and more balancedbenefits. However, a hydroponics system will also be advantageous to maximize bud growth and get the best possible yields.
A special characteristic of this hybrid is the abundance of anthocyanins. These are the pigments that give the leaves and flowers a blue or purple color. By dropping the grow room’s nighttime temperature by around 10 degrees, the plant can generate grape-hued buds – as much as 700 grams (24 ounces) per square meter.
