Orange Bud is a pure Skunk strain with masses of orange pistils in its buds. Big yielding, mostly sativa strain.

Orange Bud flourishes in all grow media and is an easy strain even for beginners to grow. It rose to prominence in the 1980s and 1990s winning plaudits from critics and customers alike in the process. It was bred by crossing two unknown Skunk strains. Indoors the best technique to use in the grow room is SoG (Sea of Green) which will produce prodigious yields of hard, resinous buds where it can produce 500 – 600 gr/m² in 7 – 8 weeks of flowering. It is also a good selection for cultivating in a greenhouse in higher latitudes or planted outside where the climate is warm, e.g. the Mediterranean region. Northern hemisphere harvests will be ready during October.

It isn’t just the color of its pistils that gives its name; its clean, sweet citrus smell is strongly reminiscent of nectarine and ripe oranges.
