Humboldt Seed Company’s Pistachio is 65% indica and was created by crossing Fortune Cookies with P-61. Pistachio has much improved resin-production and yields compared with other Cookies-family strains.
Pistachio grows quite tall with strong stems that won’t need much, if any, support or training unless for reasons of restricted height in the growing environment. This is a hardy, mold-resistant strain that handles damp autumn conditions outdoors very well. Indoors, a gradual reduction in lighting hours in the latter stages of flowering will enhance its speed of maturation.
Flowering indoors takes about 65 days while outdoor, northern hemisphere harvests will be ready during the first two weeks of October. A marked scent of nuts and fuel has notes of pistachio ice cream.
