Florida Gaspack Feminised was bred by crossing Chem ‘95 with OG Kush “Florida Cut” (aka the “Triangle” OG). It is a 75% indica strain, although exhibiting sativa-typical growth characteristics, with a heavy, greasy, chem-type scent. The many sought-after qualities of Florida Gaspack include very high potency and fantastic bag appeal. This is a lanky, though vigorous plant, and one that doubles in height once in the flowering phase and with a high calyx to leaf ratio. Indoors, plants flower for approximately 8 – 9 weeks with yields of 400 – 450 gr/m2. The structure and narrow leaves lend these plants too both SoG and SCRoG set-ups indoors. A double trellis is advised with the lowest vegetation cut away to allow the plants’ energy to be directed where it matters most.
Outdoors, plants benefit from ‘caging’ as well as trellising for extra support. Its slight susceptibility to powdery mildew is reduced by pruning inner growth (hollowing out) for superior air flow. Plants are happiest in arid, desert climates and also at higher altitudes where this does not mean an increased chance of rain. Outdoor plants will grow to a height of 450 cm. and be ready to harvest in early to mid-October in northern latitudes and can produce as much as 4000 gr/plant or more.
The terpenes have fuel, acetone and chemical cleaner type scents accompanied by spicy citrus and peppery pine undertones together with lemongrass and mint notes.
