Pyramid Seeds’ Northern Lights is derived from a very old pheno-type that is exceptionally rare to find these days. Pyramid recommends cultivation in hydroponic systems although it will thrive in any grow media. It is a small but very robust plant.
Northern Lights has a compact structure which belies its potential yield. Growth is quite slow by the standards of many new hybrid strains and sports very fleshy, dark green leaves. It smells quite strong during flowering and so for this reason it is recommended to use air-filtering if growing indoors near Neighbors where this is likely to be an issue.
Indoors yields of 450 – 600 gr/m2 are produced in a 55-day flowering period. Outdoor cultivation, where it is great for balconies on account of its short stature, will result in a yield of between 250 – 100 gr/plant for a September harvest in the northern hemisphere. Buds have a prodigious amount of resin.
The aroma is very sweet with a rather penetrating odor.
