2Y2 is a 75% indica strain which has been bred from two of the latest stellar clones from the USA, viz. Alpha Cut Purple Punch and Norcal Do-Si-Dos. 2Y2 is highly vigorous during the vegetative growth phase, boasts outstanding terpene production as well as producing high levels of .
Both parents share a similar growth pattern which makes it easy for growers to maintain an even canopy layer. Indoors the switch to flowering should be made after 4 – 5 weeks with the florescent period lasting for a further 8 – 9 weeks. 2Y2 is adaptable to both SoG and SCRoG methods and has the added bonus of being mould resistant. Trichomes start to build very quickly and soon cover the leaves. The majority of plants will display purple hues especially towards the end of flowering. Indoor yields are in the region of 500 gr/m2. High resin [production coupled with powerful terpenes make this a great strain for the concentrate fan. Outdoor growers can expect plants to be ready for harvest in mid-autumn.
The scent and aroma of 2Y2 is reminiscent of ripe blackberries with fuel and creamy notes. Its highly potent effect is relaxing for mind and body.
